ALEXANDRIA ROSE FERGUSOn

Alexandria is a recent graduate of Birmingham City University, with the graduation date of the 24th of July 2017.  She studied Fashion Design Ba(Hons) with Garment Technology- a four year course, including an Industrial Placement Year. She is pleased to be graduating with First Class degree classification.

Her Industrial Placement Year was undertaken from September 2015-September 2016, during which time she worked at the People Tree head office in London, and also for Hong Kong supplier Li and Fung at their New York office. She is passionate about production and pattern cutting in all aspects of ready-to-wear womenswear. 

For her Final Major Project of her undergraduate degree, Alexandria collaborated with high end womenswear brand LK Bennett to produce a Spring Summer capsule collection for the brand based on their previous designs.

Alexandria is also the grateful recipient of the Birmingham City University George Jackson Travel Fund Award for her work during her Final Major Project and her proposal of an educational visit to India to volunteer at Creative Handicraft, an ethical women's co-operative who supply People Tree with their woven RTW.
